Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment, documenting all changes accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventative care.
- Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively following established protocols.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of North Carolina.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) considered with relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
- ACLS certification preferred for specialty areas.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
