Key Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse at Metro Medical Center, you will:
- Assess patient health needs, history, and strengths.
- Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention and health maintenance.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and timely.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the District of Columbia.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
