Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized critical care to ICU patients with complex medical conditions
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient management
- Monitor and interpret patient data using advanced monitoring systems
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response drills
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact license)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience in acute care setting
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR system
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
