Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in ICU setting with specialized monitoring and intervention protocols
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and interpret diagnostic data, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care requirements
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (required)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year critical care experience preferred
- Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Electronic health record proficiency (EPIC preferred)
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
