Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient assessment, monitoring, and intervention in critical care settings
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document clinical observations and patient progress accurately in EHR systems
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families during critical situations
- Participate in emergency response protocols and rapid response team activations
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois (IL RN license required)
- BSN degree from accredited nursing program
- Minimum 2 years ICU or critical care experience
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
