Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients in a 24-bed ICU
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform advanced nursing interventions
- Document patient assessments and outcomes using Epic EMR system
- Provide education and support to patients and families during critical care transitions
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards
Qualifications
- Active New York State RN license (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years ICU or critical care experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications (maintained)
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
