Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU settings
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs using advanced medical equipment
- Administer medications and treatment plans per physician protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on post-hospital care procedures
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (compact license accepted)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- 2+ years ICU or critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
