Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in fast-paced medical/surgical units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor vital signs and document electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions
- Adhere to JCAHO and hospital safety protocols
- Mentor new nursing staff during orientation
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kansas
- BSN preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with Epic EHR system
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
