Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned specialty unit (ER/ICU/Med-Surg)
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Monitor patient status and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care plans
- Educate patients/families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response
Qualifications
- Active TN RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights/weekends
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
