Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with state regulations and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report significant changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and seamless transitions of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in electronic health records.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and high-volume situations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
