Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in alignment with medical protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately while monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient health records and clinical progress.
- Provide emotional support and patient education to families, ensuring they understand their care plans.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and critical changes in patient condition.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EHR) and computer literacy.
