Responsibilities
- Provide High-Quality Patient Care: Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and implement treatment plans under the supervision of physicians.
- Monitor Patient Status: Continuously monitor vital signs and clinical status, alerting physicians to any changes in patient condition.
- Collaborative Care: Work effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient treatment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) and patient charts in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to code blue situations and medical emergencies within the facility.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease management, discharge instructions, and preventive care.
Qualifications
- License: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required; PALS preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
