Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, strictly adhering to hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status continuously, alerting physicians to any changes in condition promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and support staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions.
- Provide clear education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Respond to emergent situations with composure and execute emergency protocols efficiently.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
