Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by gathering data pertinent to the patient's health.
- Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans, modifying them as indicated by the patient's responses and conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and according to hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and clinical status, recognizing changes in the patient's condition and taking immediate action when necessary.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient care services in an accurate and timely manner.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado (or eligible for licensure).
*(Note: We also accept RNs licensed in Ohio for remote or travel opportunities)* - Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
