Responsibilities
- Assess & Plan: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop individualized care plans based on medical history and current health status.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Vital Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and alert physicians to any significant changes in condition.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and social workers to ensure holistic patient care.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease management, post-discharge care, and preventive health strategies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) for all assigned patients.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado.
- Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Technology: Proficiency with electronic medical record systems and medical equipment.
