Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and intravenous therapies as per physician orders.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient health history, symptoms, progress, and care provided accurately in electronic health records.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, post-care instructions, and health management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment while adhering to hospital safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
