Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated RNs to provide exceptional patient care in our high-acuity unit. You will be the vital link between our patients and their treatment plans, ensuring safety, comfort, and positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while monitoring vital signs and medical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and disease management.
- Maintain a sterile, safe, and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and critical situations within the unit.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle critical situations with composure and professionalism.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
