Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across multiple departments including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation accuracy
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond rapidly to changes in condition
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital protocols
- Mentor new nursing staff and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Missouri (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- ACLS/BLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication abilities with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) proficiency
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
