Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Perform physical examinations and comprehensive health assessments on patients of all ages.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and therapists to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care services accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health records.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining compassion.
