What You Will Do:
As an RN at Sunrise, you will be the backbone of our patient care team. You will utilize your clinical expertise to deliver high-quality care, advocate for patient needs, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible recovery for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing comprehensive care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and update medical records with accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical care situations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (or willingness to obtain).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient advocacy.
