Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring all protocols are followed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, documenting changes and responding to emergencies promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
- Respond to code blue situations and assist in rapid response team activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
