Key Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse, you will be the cornerstone of our patient care delivery. Your primary focus will be to ensure the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and medical conditions, responding immediately to any changes or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards (JCAHO, CMS).
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (New graduates with strong externships will be considered).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient advocacy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient safety and quality improvement.
