Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosage and timing.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and alert physicians to any changes or concerns.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, wellness, and home healthcare instructions.
- Document patient care services in medical records accurately and timely.
- Respond to emergency situations with quick, decisive action and appropriate clinical interventions.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Dedication to patient safety and quality of care standards.
