Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Document patient care plans, progress notes, and clinical documentation accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, medications, and discharge planning.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and critical care events.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Florida Board of Nursing.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred based on unit assignment.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve problems under pressure.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong patient-centered care philosophy.
