Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical needs.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in electronic health systems.
- Patient Safety: Monitor patient conditions for changes and respond immediately to emergencies or critical situations.
- Educational Support: Educate patients and their families on health management, medication instructions, and post-care procedures.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital safety and infection control policies.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ASN, BSN, or MSN).
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required. Other certifications may be required based on specialty.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
- Computer Proficiency: Ability to navigate electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently.
- Compassion: Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic and patient-centered care.
