Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond to any changes in status.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
- Document patient care services, including symptoms, reactions, and progress.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, wellness, and healthcare management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and electronic health documentation.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
