Responsibilities
- Assess patient health issues and determine the appropriate nursing actions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and intravenous (IV) therapy as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and record changes in medical condition and treatment response.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatments, and home care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation.
- Respond to medical emergencies and perform critical care interventions.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nevada.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong focus on patient safety and quality care.
