Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient health status and document vital signs, symptoms, and progress accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment in accordance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and assist in code blue situations as needed.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting (New graduates with excellent performance may be considered).
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
