Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practice.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition with urgency and precision.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health maintenance.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license in the State of Arizona.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
- Experience in Med/Surg nursing preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
