Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patients' conditions and record vital signs and medical information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in computer systems and electronic health record documentation.
