Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and state regulations.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond swiftly to any changes in clinical status.
- Document patient care activities, assessments, and responses to interventions accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Valid state driver’s license and reliable transportation.
