Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and according to established protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, responding immediately to any changes or emergencies.
- Document patient care activities, including interventions, responses, and outcomes, in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Provide patient and family education regarding medical conditions, discharge instructions, and preventative care.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume medical setting.
