Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care while strictly adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Monitor patient health status closely and report any changes, symptoms, or abnormalities to the healthcare team immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote patient independence and dignity.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate medical records.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but new graduates with a valid license are strongly encouraged to apply.
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine commitment to patient advocacy and safety.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
