Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient assessments, interventions, and care documentation during night shift hours
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and code blue activations
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and regulatory standards
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and treatment plans
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and safety committees
Qualifications
- Active California RN license with no disciplinary actions
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in Med/Surg, ICU, or Emergency department
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC or PALS preferred
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently during night shifts
- Excellent communication skills for patient interactions and team collaboration
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and department priorities
