Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions, responding to emergencies with rapid intervention
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Supervise LPNs and CNAs, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Qualifications
- Active Missouri RN license in good standing
- BSN degree preferred; ADN with relevant experience considered
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
