Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders with precision
- Monitor patient vitals and condition changes, implementing emergency protocols when necessary
- Document patient assessments and care plans accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Mentor new staff and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Wisconsin (WI RN)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
