Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs throughout the night shift.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established medical protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and medical records.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and critical incidents.
- Provide patient education and support to families regarding treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, especially in Med-Surg or ICU.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality of care standards.
