Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergency situations with rapid intervention
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop individualized care plans
- Document patient information accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Mentor new staff and uphold quality standards through evidence-based practices
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for patient safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX RN)
- BSN degree (ADN with 2+ years experience considered)
- 1+ years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication abilities for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions during night shifts
