Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations
- Document patient records accurately in Epic EHR systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes
- Mentor new staff and uphold evidence-based practices
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan RN license (compact license accepted)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience preferred
- BSN degree strongly preferred
- Experience with critical care units or emergency departments
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
