Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessment, monitoring, and care coordination during night shifts
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Supervise LVNs/CNAs and delegate tasks efficiently
- Respond to critical incidents and code blue situations
- Ensure strict compliance with JCAHO and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN) required
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications mandatory
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience (ER/ICU preferred)
- Demonstrated proficiency in electronic health records (EPIC)
- Strong critical thinking and crisis management skills
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
