Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health and promptly respond to critical changes.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic procedures as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop patient care plans.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursing unit environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Kentucky.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a hospital or medical-surgical setting.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
