Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and patient responses to treatments, reporting any changes immediately to the charge nurse or physician.
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities and emotional support.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current and active RN license issued by the state of Massachusetts.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
