Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to safety protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond swiftly to any critical changes in condition or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and staff.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
