Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs throughout the night shift.
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with the night shift interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient continuity.
- Document patient care accurately and promptly in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond immediately to emergency situations and critical incidents.
- Provide compassionate patient education and support to families.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or critical care setting.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and ability to work independently during night shifts.
