As a Night Shift RN, you will play a critical role in our 24/7 operations, ensuring our patients receive the highest level of care during the overnight hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor health status throughout the night shift.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care activities, vital signs, and responses to treatment accurately and timely.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Respond immediately to patient emergencies, including cardiac and respiratory arrest situations.
- Educate patients and families on discharge planning, medication management, and health maintenance.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all safety and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California Board of Nursing.
- Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Flexibility to rotate shifts and adapt to changing patient needs.
