Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and respond immediately to any changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and clinical notes.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families during the night shift.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting.
- CPR certification (BLS) and ACLS certification required.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
