Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patient vitals and medical conditions continuously throughout the night shift.
- Administer medications and treatments according to strict physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Document patient progress, symptoms, and care provided accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations with clinical expertise.
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nevada.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions during the night shift.
