Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously throughout the night.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Implement and evaluate patient care plans, making adjustments based on real-time observations.
- Communicate critical changes in patient status to the oncoming shift and charge nurse immediately.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and documentation in the electronic health record system.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during their stay.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a high-pressure night shift environment.
- Valid state identification and proof of eligibility to work in the USA.
