Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and according to hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and progress to ensure recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure holistic care.
- Document patient care services accurately and completely in electronic health records.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
- Respond to emergencies and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of the rotating shift schedule.
