Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, and treatment coordination
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions, documenting all observations accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Respond to emergency situations with calm efficiency and critical thinking
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge planning
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Florida
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in high-pressure environments
